SCOTT says:

Disappointed / would not purchase again. Disappointed with this radio. Does not transmit consistently (transmission cuts in and out), receives signals well. Purchased primarily for use during fire / rescue operations on the water; this radio is not suitable for basic communication let alone emergency response or life safety.

Seattle Book Lover says:

Good for travel, convenient usb charging Very lightweight and super convenient to have USB (vs. cradle) charging, but incredibly loud beeps every time you press the volume / squelch /channel buttons. (I miss analogue vol/sq control.)This has, though, become my travel vhf, while my old icom is still my go-to when I’m not worried about charging.

JB the blonde says:

Light weight, “fussy” channel/scan adjustments… Decent VHF radio, but the small buttons on it are fussier for making frequency changes/scans/etc than other handheld radios I’ve used. No doubt that is more of a learning curve than bad design. Very light weight. I haven’t plunked it in the water – don’t intend to – but I appreciate the fact that it is water resistant and floats.
