This seems like a decent mug This seems like a decent mug, but the lid does not align properly when installed. The mouth of the lid ends up too close to the handle and not oriented 90 degrees like you would expect. Rotating the lid and reinstalling puts the mouth directly opposite the handle, which is worse. I hope the threads loosen up a bit over time for proper alignment, or I will need to get used to drinking from an odd angle.

Recommended I got this mug for burning man, which it’s been perfect for! But it’s also an ideal travel mug in general. I’ve used it for coffee — transporting coffee to work or bringing my own to-go cup to a cafe — and for cocktails and other drinks out in the desert at burning man. And while it doesn’t fit in a cupholder, that’s no biggy because the lid shuts tightly and doesn’t leak (even after a year of use and going through the dishwasher multiple times). Very nice cup, however Very nice cup, however, two things I’d change if I could, the handle and the gasket. On the handle i can only put 3 fingers thru it i love a mug when i can put 4 and on the gasket is a very soft china made gasket that looks like small rubber band they could put a different kind made of stronger rubber. If you squeeze this one too hard it leaks you have to be gentle and every time you fill it close it and test it befofe it stains you lucky work shirt, that’s why i gave it 4 stars 🙂
