The large pot is perfect to boil water in so I have hot water … This was exactly what I was looking for. The large pot is perfect to boil water in so I have hot water on hand. Haven’t tried to make coffee in the little one yet since we already have a coffee pot, but for “cowboy coffee” I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Everything packs well, and I was even able to rearrange so I could add some of my existing items. Yes, the plates are smaller than normal at-home plates, but I since they have to fit inside the pot I was expecting as much.
Its the Best The cardboard package arrived crushed, but pans were in great shape. survived camping and dishwasher after with no damage… and I am not friendly with my dishes, Burned food to bottom of pot… it came off easily enough, one small issue, cups are a bit small, but they worked great for the 3 year old. Plates survived being run over (by golf cart) would really recommend this to anyone.
Disposable and poor quality This cook kit was effective for my scout troop and worked for the reason I bought it quick fix for camping need. If I had the time to wait I would never had bought this cheaply made and designed kit. Plates and cups are disposable, Chinet plates are better. This is far from deluxe. If you need immediate cook gear for camping that is disposable get this.
