Perfect If you are looking for a solid metal folding shovel then this is the item for you. It is built like a tank and was exactly what I was looking for.
Ready to combat the advancing hordes For a folding shovel, this thing is built like a brick poophouse. Excellent for digging catholes, sawing small branches, and eviscerating zombies. Only complaint is actually related to its greatest strength – it’s heavy, but who cares about a few ounces when you’re trying to keep your brains from being hors d’oeuvres?
Much heavier than listed, more than twice as heavy! Way, Way heavier than listed on the website!!!!!! It said like 1.2 pounds, but when it came the box had 2.4 pounds in big letters right on the front! But to be honest it seems even heavier than that, most of my friends and family said it felt like a good 4 pounds at least. I bought this to go backpacking with, so needless to say, this won’t be coming with me…Otherwise, it is a very sturdy and functional shovel, just not for backpacking!
