Our 8” Hurricane Lantern gives off a great amount of light and has a classic look. The lantern is made with a strong metal construction allowing it to be extra durable. The included globe is made of glass allowing no diffusion of the light. You can fuel this lantern with any approved lamp oil. A metal carry handle and a metal loop for hanging are attached to the lantern for easy portability. The adjustable wick lets you adjust the brightness of the lantern. Nice Little Lantern – but do not overfill else will leak via chimney tube connections to fuel tank The red parts of this diminutive lantern are metal and work just like to big ones we used as kids when camping out and is just as resistant as its bigger American born sibling to being blown out when taken outside in the wind. Having said that it is, unlike its bigger sibling, rather flimsy as the lever to raise and lower the globe to allow lighting the wick easily misaligns that movement due to the bracket holding it not being robust enough for the service plus the lever lacks a bend or a…
I ordered two of these lanterns for a party Iâm … I ordered two of these lanterns for a party Iâm having today. I just pulled them out of the packaging and noticed three issues:1. One of them came with the glass broken. (It was broken during manufacturing because it was wrapped in shrink wrap and the broken piece was missing entirely.)2. The âStansportâ brand sticker along the bottom is practically impossible to get off. It peeled off in tiny pieces leaving that annoying/ugly sticker residue.3. I ordered two red lanterns and…
