but being more dense seems to me to help it hold heat better (my opinion) This was bought as a sleeping bag liner to add some additional warmth for my son’s 40 degree sleeping bag, and also to act as a stand alone summer bag for BSA summer camp. It is indeed fairly thin and lightweight and I wanted it that way. It packs fairly small (51/2 by 10 in. in the uncompressed sleeve it came in) and weighs 1lb 2 oz on my scale. The material is not “fluffy” as some others have complained, but being more dense seems to me to help it hold heat better (my opinion)…
Pretty thin material Pretty thin material, about the thickness of a heavyweight t shirt. Its not sweatshirt heavy.
4.75 stars, but still worth it I bought this to go with an artificial silk liner to be a lightweight summer bag. It comes with a nice stuff sack, and is very comfortable.
