I have used this for cold weather camping and it was great. It is not a soft blanket you want … Workhorse of a blanket. I have used this for cold weather camping and it was great. It is not a soft blanket you want against your skin, but is exceptional when used as a layer.
I would recommend this any day I used it on a camping trip recently when it got down to 15 degrees and this helped a lot. The blanket has no smell and is fairly light (4lbs). I would recommend this any day!
Lasting blanket and very warm Perfectly good and warm wool blanket. I’ve used this a ton so far. I really tested it when I rolled it up around me while taking a nap in my hammock in about 40 degree weather with a gentle steady breeze. Once I was wrapped in the blanket I was warm and passed out hard for a good nap. I was pretty surprised by that warmth. I have also used it on hunting trips, hikes, and other outdoor adventures.
