Perfect! These are exactly as described and I love them. Family of four mugs/cups that stack/nest into each other. Optimal space saver. I did not have the spiky inside that some other reviewers posted. The plating on the outside however, is a bit sharp. But not sharp enough to complain about or to cause any real worry. Only possible negative I can think of, is that they are a tad heavy when all stacked, but for the casual camper, no problems at all. They are not titanium. So I did not expect them…
Nice little mess kit Nice little mess kit. The metal dishes all work well. The mini rice paddle and sponge actually went to my art supplies collection. We haven’t used the plastic dishes yet, but I keep them in there so that when we forget to bring our other stuff we’ll at least have something :).We don’t much like rattling, so I took some felt strips that I put between the pans and lids when we’re packing it up.
Pretty solid set of pans This is a pretty solid set of pots and pans designed for camping and backpacking. The rivets look strong and the handles have dimples on them so when opened and pinched together in your hand will help keep them from moving around on you. As with any thin pan I would start out with your flame idled slightly. If you crank up the heat your oil and food will burn, practice once over your stove before bringing it camping. This may prevent you from ruining what could be critical food. Otherwise…
