Long burning but not so bright! These candles do burn 8 hours with some of them burning longer about 8.5 hours. I would definitely purchase again to keep on hand for emergency use. I wanted them for decorative use in my little fireplace and around my Nativity set etc. They burn long for sure but the flame is very small and not very bright so they didn’t really work well for what I wanted. Over all they deserve a 5 star but for what I wanted they got a 3 star, For other purposes they would be great.
Very weak flame that goes out frequently I use tea lights all the time, so I know a good tea light performs. In these, the flame is so small on these as to be non-existent. That means if you are using them to heat up essential oils or melt scented wax tarts, they do not work. My experience (and I tried several just to be sure, is they DO NOT burn 8 hours. The flame goes out very quickly because the wick is too small to keep a proper flame. So unless you want to relight again and again I don’t recommend them. I will also note…
returned These tea lights are too tall. They say 8-hr but I didn’t realize they used the same cheap wax and just made them taller. Twice as tall as normal ones, so they stood above the tea light holders… Which for me defeated the purpose of having clear cups so you couldn’t see the cup. I’d actually rather have silver cups that fit. Also, they came in a bag chunked with wax and were all grimy. I give them twoxstars because for all of that, they were what they said they were, and I’m sure some people…
