1100 lumens means 1100 lumens. Streamlight delivers once again. I purchased the light for patrol use. Walking up to a car with illegally tinted windows on a traffic stop at midnight is incredibly uneasy. I own the Stinger HP which is quite bright and I love it. That light is mounted in the car and comes every where with me. But I needed a new duty light for my belt and I needed one that would burn through tinted windows like butter. This light rips through windows and blinds anything in its path. I’ll let the picture speak for itself.

The Streamlight Protac HL works well in the end, but not without hastle and more money spent in the begininng.
