The Pro TAC 2L-X is a 500 lumen EDC tactical light and incorporates the versatility to use two battery types; two CR123A batteries or one Streamlight rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion cell (see battery detail below). Multi battery versatility means the user can always use primary disposable cells to power the light if the rechargeable cell is out of power and a charging source is not available. Designed for use in all markets, it features a tactical tail cap switch for momentary or Constant on operation, three different user selectable programs and a pocket clip for convenience. The aluminum housing with type II Military spec anodizing helps make the light extremely durable and abrasion resistant. Packaged with a removable pocket clip and holster. Available in Black.

Very good light, small and bright. Great light and cheaper than the Ultra Fire it replaced. I also bought the rechargeable batteries and charger.
Great flashlight, misleading model information. This is a well made flashlight, as it should be for nearly $60. It is “programable” between three modes: 1 toggles between High-Strobe-Low, the 2nd mode is High Only, and the 3rd is Low-Medium-High. To me, the 3rd mode is most useful – tap the button for half a second for low power and then depress fully to engage “medium”, which as far as I can tell is really “high” power. Why the 3 stars? Because after ordering this, I investigated the difference between the 88062…
Best lights I’ve ever owned I’m an aircraft maintenance technician, and flashlights are an absolutely necessary part of my job, and I also EDC a flashlight. This is one I could use for both. I had the regular 2L for 4 years probably… Great battery life, bright, and reliable. It finally failed when I tried to use the front bevel as an impromptu flathead screwdriver (not on an aircraft!!) and cracked the glass… learned that lesson.
