It’s ok…. I think there are better alternatives out there than this one. I wanted something cheap that I could clean easily and this seemed to have fit the bill. However, it just doesn’t produce enough mist to be effective – no where near the amount that the ultrasonic one I have does. Also, it isn’t the most quiet humidifier out there either. My son couldn’t sleep with it, but he is a light sleeper though. We will keep it and run it during the day instead of at night. Also, unlike the ultra-sonic ones…
GREAT PRODUCT After reviewing several brands of humidifiers and owning a few brands that either did not last or required purchasing filters and “cleaners”, I can definitely attest to the Sunbeam being THE BEST unit on the market for the price and quality. VERY QUIET & EFFECTIVE IF DIRECTIONS ARE FOLLOWED: many complained of noise, BUT the quick start directions clearly state that if the lid is put on correctly this unit works very quietly. I bought one for my bedroom and one for my living room. I am so glad that I did not read these reviews before purchase.
