Great little fans These are great little fans. We have them in all of our upstairs registers.I have chemical sensitivities and these fans were the best for me. They have a little odor that goes away fairly quickly after running them for a few days. We tried a couple of other fans like this. One was made of very soft plastic that smelled terrible. Another one had a electrical cord that smelled awful. These are hard plastic and do not smell after running for a few days. We plug them in, in the garage…

3 stars as is, 5 star if modified. As is this is an OK floor booster that really helps move extra air into a room. It has a pair of high-flow 92mm computer fans inside that best I can tell move about 55CFM each. I opened the unit up and some google-fu on the model numbers of the fans revealed the chinese supplier’s site with specs. Really about 55 CFM is about the max air flow you can get out of 92mm fan. Collectively they move ~100 CFM of air with no obstructions. So the unit pushes *quite* a bit more air than the…

First and foremost, I want everyone to understand that this is NOT an air conditioner or furnace, nor does it create colder or warmer air. All it does (and claims to do) is move a little more air out of a weak register. Another thing…do NOT expect this unit to be as quiet as your old register.
