Great mount. Easy install on ’09 JK X; required no drilling. Routing wires and cables to the unit is simple at this location, no tools required to remove trim. There is also no need of a mic clip and keeps everything together and completely out of the way. I do recommend.
Hope it’s strong enough not to bounce Easy to install, good fit.Seems strong enough right now, will know after a few trips down the trails to see if it holds up without bouncing.I do wish that it had a longer offset towards the passaanger side, the radio bracket is only held by the far left side, the right side is left with no support
The only OEM-style over-windshield mount for a Jeep Wrangler Used in a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon to mount a switch panel, for emergency lights (fire department). The metal is very sturdy, but with channellocks and a bench vise you can bend the rather long end into the shape you desire. Cut as needed. A wire-wheel drill/machine recommended to take off any metal spurs.
