The HS2-MV-A-BK that launched SureFire headlamps into best-in-class status. Minimus provides the right amount of light with 13 preset outputs up to a max of 300 lumens-precisely where you need it, thanks to its adjustable output knob and rotatable LED housing. The Minimus Headlamp features high-performance LED with Faceted maxvision reflector produces a wide, smooth beam optimized to your field of vision while providing extended runtime. Built from tough polymer and rugged aerospace hard-anodized aluminum, the Minimus is lightweight but tough enough for the rigors of caving, mountaineering, and combat. Light housing can be rotated up or down 90 degrees. Custom-made headband utilizes fine mesh material built for comfort, durability, and a secure fit, with or without a helmet. Breathe-o-prene pad fits snugly and comfortably against the forehead while wicking away moisture. The pad can be removed for washing or replacement.

Lifetime Warrantee and American Made As far as quality and lifetime warrantee, this thing is rock solid. One complaint is the filter. It is necessary for a handful of buyers and yet it is also so east to get lost. They need to find a way to hold the filter so it can easily be used or not used. Customer Service replaced my unit after about 5 years no hoops to jump through just asked some questions in order to rule out fixable problems. American made is another plus. You get what you pay for in the end.

Perfect quality headlamp I waited patiently for Surefire to upgrade the Minimus and it was worth the wait. Bright, great beam quality and super comfortable headband. It is a bit more expensive but I don’t mind since I get a lifetime warrantee from Surefire for the headlamp. It is by far more comfortable than the headband of Zebralight and other headlamp manufacturers. All the specs are on the Surefire website and there is no need for me to repeat it in my review. Very happy with this purchase!
