useful tool I’ve not had occasion to use it, but it’s a substantial tool that fits both my gas and my water shut-off valves. I hang it on the door closest to the water shutoff. I tested it’s fit for both and shut off the water to test it. I didn’t test it on the gas valve since that might break the safety that’s built in [don’t ask how I know that]. It made turning off the water very easy and I assume it would be the same for the gas.Heavy enough to do the job, light enough to handle well.

It’s okay, but a good crescent wrench would be better buy It does what it says, but it is not a high quality tool. It is cast from some lightweight metals (probably aluminum), and has a lot of seams/imperfections, some of which could cut into your hands. I took a file to it and cleaned it up, which was easy as the metal is soft. The water shutoff should fit most residential valves, but it will not fit the larger/master city valves. There is not as much torque as on a large water key. And honestly, it would be just as easy to use a large crescent…

Beware the size matches your valve. The product is OK. But, here is the challenge. The gas wrench opening is too long and too narrow. The part that is up in the “hammer head” section. Probably fits some places just fine. But after I bought this, it doesn’t work at my house, or any friends or family here in S.F. Bay Area. Not really worth returning a $14 item.SUGGESTION: Give the dimensions of the openings in the descriptions of the products. Then, buyers can go measure whether this is a fit for their valve or…
