reliable I haven’t used it in any very cold areas, but it has thus far been reliable and seems more responsive than others I have used. I’ve only used it in Oregon and Ecuador.
very good compass for the price A solid compass is a must, I purchased this one so that my daughter would have a good compass. She is a beginning camper, huntress and prepper and map/compass skills are essential. This is a well priced, easily used accurate compass for finding ones way. I highly recommend
An accurate compass with minor flaws Beware when ordering MC-2G compasses as there are 3 variants of it. Even vendors may not know which is what and post wrong photos, they look very similar until the details are examined.The “all” metric version has an inch scale on the right margin, SS004252010. The Romer scales are 1:25k and 1:50k, metric.An all metric version was made but not in 2013, but some may exist from old stock from other vendors.An inch version for the USA has 1:24k Romer scales…
