Good concept Like the concept of the large top opening, very easy to clean and dry. Bite valve has leaked from the get go, the fill cap feels as if it is fully seated but still has a slow leak/drip. This was for a 6 year old Cub Scout, he is in love with the idea of having his own water supply while out and about, unfortunately he drinks about 70% and ends up wearing the rest. We will probably reserve use for the heat of the summer where the dripping will help cool him. We will look some more for colder…
Works great, but icky plastic taste The bladder works great, and doesn’t leak. I really like the snap on cover over the mouth piece, which kept it clean. I also like the water tight screw-on tube. There is a strong and unpleasant “plastic” taste that persists even though I’ve flushed the bladder many times and used it through a week of camping/hiking. When I’m thirsty, I’ll still drink the water. If not for the taste, this would receive 5 stars.
