Well, you can lock the settings by pressing MENU button for 3 seconds or until the lock icon displayed. The great thing is you can also turn the radio on and off, adjust the volume, receive, transmit, send a call tone and monitor channels, but other functions would be locked.
If you want to unlock the radio, press MENU button for 3 seconds or until lock icon is no longer displayed.

Very nice quality These are amazing walkie-talkies and such a great price for such a great quality product. These are really easy to use and take three AAA batteries each the range is amazing and the sound is really clear even one far away. I love how it has different sounds for the call button to get other person’s attention very nice Walkie talkies, I bought for my kids but thinking about keeping them for myself lol.
These are really fun. We got these to have fun with our … These are really fun. We got these to have fun with our granddaughters. So of course my husband and I were playing around wit these. We wanted to see how clear they would be on the other side of our property. We have 7 acres so it wasn’t a real short distance and it was very clear. We will have so much fun with the granddaughters and they will with each other with these. They are easy to operate and each takes 3 AA batteries. They seem like they will with stand the little ones. Very pleased.
Great walkie talkies for kids These are great walkie talkies. I bought them for my friend’s kids. She recently moved to a new house and they have wood. These are great because the kids can play in the woods and she has peace of mind that she can still talk to them and find them. The range is great, but they are still light and portable, the kids use the belt clip so they can play hands free.
