Well, you can lock the settings by pressing MENU button for 3 seconds or until the lock icon displayed. The great thing is you can also turn the radio on and off, adjust the volume, receive, transmit, send a call tone and monitor channels, but other functions would be locked.
If you want to unlock the radio, press MENU button for 3 seconds or until lock icon is no longer displayed.

A great walkie talkie for the price. We bought these for our six year old granddaughter when she saw walkie talkies on a television show and wanted them. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on these just for a child but didn’t want to buy a cheap model that would break right away. We play with these frequently and the sound is clear and the range is very good. They seem to be of quality design and manufacture. Only time will tell as to how long they hold up but after a few weeks they are working well.
A useful kids toys…. We buy it for our usual bonding with my family which is to go hiking. We usually go in pairs, those that are faster go with me and those that are a bit slower goes with my wife. We used it couple of times on a hiking and it is very useful as we are now updated on each others location within the hike site. The product in totality looks good and sturdy despite being light in weight. I like the clarity of the voice on the other side of the device. It is indeed easy to operate as even my 5 years…
Great walkie talkies for kids These are great walkie talkies. I bought them for my friend’s kids. She recently moved to a new house and they have wood. These are great because the kids can play in the woods and she has peace of mind that she can still talk to them and find them. The range is great, but they are still light and portable, the kids use the belt clip so they can play hands free.
