I recommend for every backer looking to lighten the load and handle 35 lbs cargo loads. Fantastic little spring hooks that just fit onto 5 strand 550 parachute cord. I have then for my hammock quilts, tarps, pillow anchor, bear bag and a slew of other things around my camp. They work great for equipment necklaces and keychains too. I have used them with 25 lbs loads and in winds up to 40 mph and they came through it like a champ. I don’t know why the other reviewers claimed they don’t fit on parachute cord, they must have mushroomed the end of the line when they melted it. I don’t…

Big use in a small clippy These little clips are cute and will be handy for light-load simple tasks. The spring clip part is strong and you most likely will need two hands to unclip them. NOTE the picture makes them look big, they are actually 7/8″ long so be aware if you’re planning a use for these.

Not Bad, Great Clasp Option To Keep Down Bulk These are fairly nice little paracord hooks. First thing to realize though, is these are just under an inch. That sounds big on first thought, but are a snug fit within the eyelet for any cord over 7-strands. This can be good or bad, but I consider it to be mostly a plus since I benefit from the reduction of bulk. I do happen to use Type-IV cord almost exclusively, which has 11 strands. To thread this size, I do the following:
