Must freeze packs solid; good fit for purse This travels well in your purse. The freezer packs do a pretty good job of keeping the product cool, but they need to be frozen solid — not just cold. We stayed at a hotel whose in-room refrigerator didn’t have a freezer, so the freezer packs didn’t freeze solid enough. I was disappointed that a medication pen got almost to room temperature during the day. However, it does the job well if the freezer packs are frozen well.

Took this on a cross-country flight from Oregon to Florida … Took this on a cross-country flight from Oregon to Florida and it worked for the most part and was able to keep the medicine cold until I could put it into a refrigerator at the hotel. However, my medicine could go up to 24 hours without refrigeration before it started to degrade so it wasn’t critical to keep ice cold.
