Fabulous. I’m buying another I used this as a ground pad and I loved it. It was a little larger than my tent so I had a nice matted area right outside my tent where I kept my shoes. I’m getting another one for a shade shelter. I love its little cinch sack and it’s super easy to pick and carry.If you are going to stake this down, get the thin needle like stakes. The ones I bought were too big for the grommets (they were too wide). I ended up using my tent stakes for the tarp and vice versa.
Excellent tent footprint! I picked up the 5×7 tarp to use as a footprint for a 5×7 backpacking tent and to use as an emergency tarp on the trail. For those purposes this is a great value. At 5×7, it is too small to use for a hammock fly or for most backpack shelters on its own. Plus the grommets are not reinforced in any way. I would not trust them under any circumstances. If I need to tie this down somehow, I will use a small stone and a piece of paracord as an anchor point. But for my stated purpose, this is…

I’m supplementing my tent with this for extra rain protection, but I’m sure this would make a great shelter on it’s own. Quality feel, water proof as far as the kitchen sink goes so far lol, but I have no doubt it will meet expectations in a downpour.Edit: I’ve used this tarp as a ground tarp and in conjunction with a rent for rain protection.
