Sara Gorinac says:

Runs large and fabric is rough (but durable) The pants run large (bought a Large and I am a 35″ waist…it should be able to fit a 38″ waist), but I love nearly everything about them (too lazy to return and figure I’ll “grow into them” eventually!). The fabric is a bit heavy-weight and scratchy-rough on the skin (upper thighs), but they seem durable and likely to provide years of reliable service.

Love em I’ve always been very happy with these pants. They fit well. And of course it’s a big advantage that you can turn them into a pair of shorts. This is my third pair. Each pair held up quite well.

Pete & Beth says:

I’m sold on these North Face pants! North Face’s medium (size 34) short is a bit long. It’s probably a 32″ inseam so is a couple inches too long for my 5′-4″ frame. I love the pants though. The last pair I purchased last spring have lasted all year through hiking, motorcycling, camping, etc. They wear surprisingly well even around the camp fire and look pretty good even when they begin to wear out. Spring, summer, winter…throw a pair of long underwear on and they are plenty warm. The pockets are a life saver. My memory…
