Useful information This book is a must have if you have walking poles. It explains a lot. It even gives you warm up exercises for before your walk. I found this book helpful in using my poles.

It is the ultimate One would think that the title of this book is an exaggeration, but it isn’t. I read books and articles prior to this book, but this book has it all. Whether you’re a beginner (like me) or you’re really into competing or you just want a great physical outdoor workout, this is the only book that you will need.

Not sure if I learned anything not on the disc I got with my Nordic Walking Sticks but it gave me extra assurance that I could do it. I don’t do the pre-exercise stretching exercises, but the pictures of how to get going were useful. Also didn’t pay attention to the “diet” tips. I was convinced that just moving more would help my weight reduce and that’s been the case although I’m not doing more than 6 blocks a day with the sticks yet. (They don’t tell you that upper shoulder muscles need to adapt and, until they do, it aches if I go too far.)
