You will still feel rocks and stuff but this is … You will still feel rocks and stuff but this is mainly for keeping you warm and that is exactly what it does! It folds up a lot smaller than its longer version (big surprise) This is a must have if you are saving weight and space. Use your dry bag with your clothes in it as a pillow and rest your feet on you bag. I am borderline minimalist and I approve of this mat and doubt I will ever get an air mat unless I backpack in very cold weather. Perhaps below freezing?

Steven Hernandez says:

Kinda bulky but puncture free and keeps you warm and protected from the cold floor. This is a good mat but not for picky sleepers. Its light and rolls up kinda big but it worked well. On colder nights, it will keep you protected from the cold floor. I used it in the mid 40s and didnt feel any cold under me. It doesnt roll up small like an air pad but you dont have to worry about punctures either. I like it.

JSR says:

Super lightweight pad, adds comfort under a sleeping bag. Great sleeping pad for biking or camping. It was lightweight enough that it could be bungeed on the back of a bike along with a sleeping bag and it added practically no weight to the the load. We rolled it up and it does have some bulk to it while rolled, but it was worth it to have a bit of extra padding under the sleeping bag. It also retains heat, or rather reflects your body heat agains the silvery surface. We only had one night that was slightly chilly so we didn’t really notice this…
