Great backpacking night’s sleep! I love this cot. I’m 6’3″ and 215 lb. I first tried this at home and it wasn’t too comfortable, but it was adequate. I went backpacking this past weekend with it and had the best (backpacking) night’s sleep I’ve ever had. I don’t think this should be compared to a regular cot or a bed, but to a ground pad. Dissappointed Got this in yesterday. It just doesn’t work for sleeping on your side. I weigh 220 lbs, it is rated for 300 lbs. I set it up with full support and my hip was resting on the cross bars and the ground. If you lay flat, it works much better. Even for my wife, who weighs much less, had her hip nearly touch the ground also, had about a half inch clearance. It feels comfortable and I am hoping it will make a difference on being able to get a solid nights sleep. I plan on including this in my gear I use for camping while on motorcycle trips.
