Great ultralight doohikey I got this because I was tired of sitting on logs and having my butt wet when hiking in the winter. I ended up using this for everything. I set my pack on it. I put it in front of the tent entry and kneel on it when going in and out to keep dirt off me and transferring into my tent. I sit drape it over a log when sitting to give a little cushion. Four star product I use this on the seat of my rocking chair to protect both chair seat and users’ buttocks. It stays put and, to date, has not broken up.My favorite seat cushion is the Therm-A-Rest Lite, which is cushier, softer, and overall better than this pad, as long as one does not mind an inflatable (which can have some downsides if punctured on the trail, I know). Very versatile piece, comes along even in my minimalist pack This thing is great. It seems like such an odd item to include and carry. My woods/outdoors pack is pretty minimal, with a mix of ultralight and bushcraft items. I might have 12 total items in there, including this funny little cushion. It just comes in handy so many times. Perfect to protect your knees as you prepare kindling/tinder for a fire, or kneel to prepare food. Perfect over the log for comfy sitting.
