It’s okay. Lightweight which is a plus, but very bulky. Didn’t keep me warm as expected in 40F degree night in tent.
These work much better than the non reflective for the colder weather These work much better than the non reflective for the colder weather. Surprised at how well, actually. I went with the larger size to help keep the insulating area larger and that may have helped as well. Rolls up nicely.
Best for car camping applications vice backpacking I am certain this sleeping pad would have performed exceptionally well in the cold as a ground insulating layer under my Exped Downmat UL sleeping pad. I decided to return because of the size when rolled up. As a closed cell foam, it is large and didn’t fit on the outside of the pack well enough for me. Reason is I already have snowshoes attached outside the pack and having this pad too made it too awkward for me. Last snow trip camping I didn’t suffer from not having it, but am considering the…
