I use my electric kettle to quickly boil water in the morning then fill the canister, all while re-heating food from the night before on the stove. Within 10 minutes the thermos is hot enough to fill and close. I do this at about 7:00am and my food is still either hot or very warm at 11:30. I’m so happy with…

Great thermos. Great thermos. The trick is to fill with boiling water, seal for about 10 minutes to ‘heat’ the inside, discard hot water, fill with your contents and it stays hot for hours!

Works well Bought this for my daughter for school. Works very well for some things. If I heat up soup at 6:45 a.m., it’s still very warm at noon when she gets lunch. Other things, like Mac and cheese, were only luke-warm. Overall, we’re happy with it because it works well for soup, and she likes something warm every once in awhile to break up the monotony of cold lunches. I’ve tried two or three other thermoses, and this works the best.
