Leaks in Two Places Bought this one because I’ve used the brand before and it keeps my coffee hot for hours. However, with this one there’s two problems both involving a leak. First, the rubber piece on the top that’s supposed to seal the drinking part when it’s closed, does not. If the mug tilts enough it just leaks through the front. The second is another leak. Apparently when you remove the lid and replace it, it has to line up perfectly to not leak. I have had coffee spill everywhere because of it. I remove…
Fake! Not the original. See photos. This is NOT a genuine item. It is a counterfeit. Note the logo compared with the actual Nissan thermos. There is no patent or product identification on the bottom of this like there is on a real thermos. The rubber is thinner and cheaper. This product LEAKS. I notified Amazon about this and they are looking into it.
Thoroughly Dissatisfied!! I purchased this product with the expectation that, since it is advertised as a commuter mug, it would not leak. Almost from first use I noticed that after drinking part of the beverage, the cup starts to leak where the lid meets the body of the device. I thought the first time that maybe the lid was not on correctly or possibly that the body was not completely dry when the lid was screwed on so I decided to stick with it.
