The lid is really hard to open up, and it had scratches on the back. But that’s not the worst.. the compass dial isn’t even accurate, it just spins around. Had to send it back.

Beautiful and sturdy (and hard to break!) This compass is so beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. I bought a second compass as a backup and this one is so much better. It feels sturdy and solid, and the glass on top is very secure and doesn’t scratch easily. I will admit, I bought this to hold the rings in my wedding, so I took out the glass and needles to turn the compass into a ring box. It took multiple tries with a nail and hammer to break the glass, and the glass and gold never scratched through the whole process. Although…
