Socks in a box? NOT COOL! I ordered the three pack of these Thorlos. One pair came with standard packaging, the other two pair came folded together in a box without packaging. Not cool! Though they look okay, there is no way of knowing whether those two pair are the real deal or counterfeit. Also, the socks may have changed from the previous iteration; the packaging no longer says “moderate cushion” and “coolmax” has been replaced by “thorwick cool.” Listing should probably be changed. First Impression is Excellent I’m about 5 hours into my first time of wearing these and I am impressed. They are extremely comfortable and appear to be high quality. They are a bit thicker than I expected but it is not bad at all. I am giving them a heat test as we speak. It is around 120 F where I am now. So far my feet are not getting hot or too sweaty. Best sock, best value…last for years Thorlos are the best socks and I’ve worn them for about 20 years, or so. These are the best of the best. The last Thorlos I bought were too small as far as going up my leg and not as well made…very disappointing with those, but this light hiking sock is unbelievable. I just ordered another 3 pack.
