My second pair but some things you should know… Finally got my 2nd pair of these. Had my first pair for about 3+ years of heavy use. When it came time to replace I wanted to try a higher end boot. Got a pair of Merrils and had problems with the fit of the right boot, then they started to rub the top of my toes, again, in the right boot. Was frustrated and decided to go with “tried and true” and ordered my 2nd pair of these. So with HEAVY use I can say…Pros:-fit right out of the box, don’t really need to break them…

Couldn’t be better! I was forced by a situation beyond my control to immediately need a new pair of hiking boots only a week before leaving for a week of hiking in the rainforests of Costa Rica. I live in the woods – literally an hour from the nearest traffic light, so I had nowhere to shop. I wasn’t sure ordering these boots online was going to be a satisfactory solution, but figured I could always send them back. Judging from the positive reviews I hoped they would fit right out of the box – and they did fit…

Timberland Needs To Be Investigated!!! Length:: 0:14 Mins First The Pros: These boots have a nice look, they are not bulky like some hikers, and they are extremely lightweight for boots. The fit and comfort is almost perfect out of the box & easily perfected with an upgraded insole. If you look at the pics you can see that I used to strongly believe in the Timberland brand. I usually hike in pretty DRY areas, and by hike, I simply mean that I aggressively walk with backpack through wooded and flat areas…
