Runs small These were too short as compared to my other 7.5 Timberlands. They were also rather stiff with not much cushion in the footbed. I like the style and slightly retro hiking boot look. Returning due to the fit.

I bought these hoping they would be a good as I hoped and they are I bought these hoping they would be a good as I hoped and they are! They have enough room in the toe area which will allow me to wear socks comfortably! I have high hopes for these for my future hikes! 😉

Archaeology! Update 9/13/2016 — These boots successfully survived 2 weeks of field school in rural North Carolina and 6 weeks on an island in Spain. That’s long wearing time, every day usage. I still find these boots to be extremely comfortable and supportive. The island I was working on in spain and somewhat rugged terrain and these no doubt saved me from rolling my ankle on more than one occasion. The traction was great for hiking along seaside cliffs. Definitely recommend!
