TNH never lets me down, and neither will these trekking poles! I never used trekking poles while hiking, that is until last year when I bought snow shoes and decided I would see how the poles performed on the trail in the summer as well. Now I have no idea how I’ve gone this long without them, and I wish TNH had released these last year as the poles I bought for snowshoeing were quite pricey. Beats a bamboo pole hands down! Let me begin by saying I’ve never used a trekking pole before. Always used a bamboo pole that had hard epoxy in the business end. So as soon as these arrived I thought I’d give them a good workout on the back 40. The height adjustment is simple and effective, just flip the little locking mechanisms open, pull to desired length, lock, try them out and adjust if necessary. Great Cork Handles Very good trekking poles for the money. These are the most comfortable cork handles, I have ever felt on a trekking pole. Super high quality cork compared to other trekking poles, I have bought on Amazon or elsewhere. They are soft, yet firm, when gripping them. The wrist straps actually have padding to them.
