It transcends Sporkdome LOVE IT! The “spork” has always seemed like a horrible idea to me. Adding the tines of a fork to a spoon seemed like it would be combining the worst attributes of both utensils, and indeed the plastic forks I used to get from KFC were just that. stubby tines that lacked the length to do their job, and a spoon with slits half way into the bowl… “really?” It’s a bit like a combining an eagle with a horse, but instead of a Pegasus, you end up with a chicken with a horses head and…
Good quality but MUST be locked with the slider bar EDIT: I’ll leave the old post. But the sliding TOAKS bar you see on the handle? If you push that snugly toward the spork end – it will push the wires out slightly and lock them behind the dimples. Thus making into a very sturdy stove. In use, pressure by the hand on the handle, scooping food with the spoon…
compact & light! haven’t used it during a hiking trip yet, but so far I like it.The biggest plus for me is that when folded, it fits into my Jetboil Sol Cooking System(Also fits Primus, see uploaded photo). One major issue I had with my previous non-folding titanium/plastic spork(or any other non folding utensil) is that it’s easily misplaced. The folding spork fits my integrated & self contained cooking system much better.
