fine for the price Trekking poles seem fine for the price, weighing in at 19.05oz for both poles without any hardware on them. The locking mechanisms seem to work well, and overall the build quality of the product is honestly better than expected.If I were looking again, I might go with the Monoprice trekking poles which are lighter and more reputable- but do cost 10$ more.
Why did I wait so long to get trekking poles I have never used trekking poles before, but so many others do I thought it might be worth a try. Wow I am glad I made that decision. They are really helpful for helping with balance, slowing ones descent down a hill among other aspects.
