Great, Reliable, Well Thought Out Dual Band DMR This is my third dual band DMR radio. I also have the MD2017 and AT-D868UV. From a usability standpoint, I prefer this radio to the others for several reasons.1. The MD2017 user interface is clunky and error prone. The trackball is hard to operate accurately and can result in changing channels unintentionally. I prefer using a channel knob.2. Nice Little Radio – good Customer Service I was able to program this radio with the supplied cable once. The second time I tried nothing worked. I contacted the seller and after a couple e-mails they sent a new programming cable. Everything works great. I usually grab it when going out and about. I use it for both Analog and DMR I would recommend the MD-UV380 to anyone.
