Whats not to love about this handy little guy Whats not to love about this handy little guy? Very quite, don’t even know it’s running. Small and compact to fit almost anywhere. Mine is on a shelf of my TV stand. Drinks are very chill. It comes with both an AC or DC plug. Would be great for a small camper, or even the back seat in place of a cooler and ice. Just buy it!! You will not be sorry.
Defective product We returned this for a refund. The item looked as if it had been used before. There were small dents and scratches on it, but worst of all was the sound that it made when we plugged it in. I had purchased this product because of the reviews that stated that is was so quiet, but there was obviously something wrong with the fan or motor because it made a very loud grinding sound. We wanted to use this fridge in our bedroom, so the noise made that impossible.
Good for chilling drinks Depending on what you need this for, this is a great product that sorta does what it says – though it must be noted that it’s really more of an electronic cooler rather than a real mini-fridge. A real fridge runs between 32-40°F. This unit says it only cools up to 32°F BELOW ambient temperature. I use this in an office that averages 75°F everyday according to an indoor thermometer I have. I tested inside the unit after having it plugged in for several hours but the temp capped at 50°F. That’s…
