UCO Candle Lantern 3.5-Inch Candles are specially designed to fit the UCO Original Candle Lantern and the UCO Candlelier. Ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency preparedness, no outdoor adventure or survival kit is complete without a stash of candles. Each candle measures 3.5 inches in height, and features a specially sized wick that maintains ideal flame height, optimizes burn time, and minimizes dripping and soot. UCO Candles are available in three formulas. The original White Wax 9-Hour Candle has a burn time of nine hours, and a high-melt temperature to minimize residue. The 100 percent Natural Beeswax 12-Hour Candle (non-paraffin based) is clean-burning with a naturally pleasant aroma, and a burn time of 12 hours. And the 9-Hour Citronella Candle burns for nine hours, while repelling mosquitoes and other virus-carrying insects. Available in economical 3-Packs, 9-Packs (White only), and bulk 20-Packs. Use with a UCO Candle Lantern indoors during power outages and emergencies, and outdoors for ambient camp light or to warm a tent and reduce condensation.

Specialty candles for UCO “Original Lantern”, getting pricier & harder to find These UCO specialty candles are the only ones made to fit UCO’s proprietary design ‘Original Candle Lantern’. They are becoming harder to find and also more expensive now that the USA’s largest retail chain that begins with “Wal-” has stopped carrying them (and discontinued the UCO lanterns also, so they won’t be back). I’m giving them 4 stars because of their rising price and because they’re also becoming harder to find (vicious circle). You can supposedly also use less expensive…

Something changed- these are not as good! I have been using UCO lanterns for years with great results. I have purchased bulk candles before because I go thru them quickly. This batch was not packaged the same as my previous order. The previous batch was multiple 3-packs in the normal retail packages. This batch was just 20 candles thrown in a box. They do not work as well as the ones I have used before. They fit correctly, but tend to get stuck in the tube. Also, wax tends to drip down all over the base of the lantern (inside,…

In a candle lantern, such as the single UCO model, without flat bottoms the candle never has a chance to finish burning to it’s last 20% without melting unevenly and dripping inside the lantern, making a huge mess. Some of the candles themselves are warped along the shaft. I have to throw away the last 25% of the candle before it drips melted wax into the interior.May be decent candles if you’re going to melt the…
