Worked great until recently. Not sure what happened. Very clear sound. Easy installation. Simple directions. Kind of vague on how to use the swr meter. A great bargain for a radio with a lot of features. I decided to mount mine inside of a wooden box in my pickup and along with the bracket it came with it was pretty simple. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.
Great CB This was bought as a massive upgrade to my small, cheaply made, Midland CB. Yes, it’s a rather large unit for a passenger vehicle, but I’d rather have something that works over something with streamlined controls that don’t.
This is a pretty small basic simple radio This is a pretty small basic simple radio, and it’s been great. The send and receive is way better than I expected it to be. I have talked about a 6-8 mile range with it on most nights. I had other guys notice that I got a new radio before telling them, they told me how good it sounded. I’ve had many many compliments on how it sounds and I have not done a peak and tune or anything to it. It has definitely exceeded my expectations.
