Awesome little shovel/pick I have been hearing a lot about how heavy it is in the reviews but trust me this pick/shovel combo may be a little weighty for its size but will not bend or break.You can also get through harder soil with little trouble. United Cutlery ? NOT! For some reason I don’t think this item is made buy united cutlery, it’s indicated on the box that it’s by survivor gear. United Cutlery puts their stamp on everything they make “the skull and lightning bolts”. But it is very well made. It’s totally OK if you’re going tent camping and you have a few friends to share the load but this thing weighs 1½ lb. Not really my idea of a lightweight shovel.
