Having the telescope feature is very nice but it makes the pole feel a bit flimsy I ordered these because we camp a lot and cook hotdogs and s’mores. The carrying case and tips caps are nice for ease of transportation. All the kids that used them loved these and had fun cooking marshmallows. Purchase makes me a Very Happy Camper! After reading several reviews on these and many other Roasting Sticks I was a little worried about the design and the fact that the Sticks were constructed from metal. My concern was that when roasting marshmallows that they would heat up so much that the marshmallow would just slide off and into the fire pit.
