Still like it Light weight yet strong and good pricing too. There are no smaller pockets in the small front pocket but I don’t mind. Also the water bottle pockets perfectly fit a plastic 16 oz bottle.Update: Today it rained really hard. The backpack is water resistant like against a quick water spill but it does not hold up against heavy rain. Luckily only the top of my notebook got wet but again this backpack is water resistant NOT waterproof.
I don’t really like backpacks. In high school I don’t really like backpacks. In high school, and forward, I used a small backpack or a messenger bag and either opted to carry or leave books in the car. I know Herschel is big and popular, but I didn’t want an expensive bag. This black Vaschy backpack is the perfect size- it doesn’t sag down with more items and fits my laptop, notebooks, and misc. There is a pocket in the back for the laptop, a section in the front for small items, and two water slots on both sides. I bought this around…
Well made, value priced. This is a very basic backpack, but it seems very well made, has plenty of room, and yet is compact enough for my 3rd grader to wear comfortably on his back. We’re only a week into the school year, but thus far, my son hasn’t found a way to damage it, which is good considering he is a force of nature who has annihilated lesser backpacks in mere hours.I will try to remember to update this review at Christmas break, but so far, I am pleased at the quality and value of the backpack.
