Versatile. I purchased a pair of Vasque’s Mantra 2.0 hikers(size 8.5M) a month ago and they fit like a comfortable glove. Love ’em! However, I also wanted something similar, but high-top and waterproof. The Talus Trek model seemed like a decent candidate, so I ordered a pair in the same size and found them to be uncomfortably narrow. Not bad! The fit and the quality of construction are good.The soles are VERY “grippy” on hard, Rocky surfaces. One complaint I have has to do with the upper lace hooks; When lacing these boots up, the upper lace hooks don’t hang on to the laces like my Keen boots do.
