Voltmeter and lighter socket good; used third hole for switch Let’s get this out of the way first: I am not using the USB charging port, nor have I tested it. I replaced it with a switch so I can easily turn on and off the voltmeter and lighter socket (as well as some lights I attached). I therefore have no idea how well or poorly the USB charger works.However, I have tried the other bits. I would rate this 4.5 stars if I could: it’s not perfect (or even ‘really great’) but it does seem good.The voltmeter reading is a touch…
It will definitely tell you if your alternator has gone bad, which is all I want it for I have had this little power station installed in my 02 honda accord for a few months now, and has treated me very well with no problems at all. I have used the volt meter, usb charger and cigarette lighter socket, and have treated me very well. For my application, I found the rubber liner to be helpful because of its flexibility. It really helped for the location I was installing. I wired up the usb ports and cigarette lighter socket to constant power so I can charge my phone with the ignition…
Overall pleased It’s not too bad.. has been working well for me so far. The only thing that is kinda messed up is the voltage reader. It’s upside down! Either the Writing is upside down or the display I’m not sure.
