Worked Perfectly in a Class A Gas Motorhome It worked great on a week long trip in our Class A motorhome (gas, front engine). Most of the negative reviews are from people who ignored the instructions and installed it too close to the engine block. No compass at any price will work well when improperly used. Great price, compact, accurate. This little compass is just what I was looking for – inexpensive, compact, and accurate. I mounted it on the glass instrument panel of my car. It fits perfectly, but it also fit very well on the mirror and windshield. As a note: I was taken aback by some of the other reviews for this compass and other similar small compasses that said some of these small compasses were showing the exact opposite direction. DOES NOT WORK, DO NOT BUY Before I purchased this I saw many reviews saying it didn’t work, and I assumed maybe these people just didn’t know how this type of compass is supposed to work. I’ve had this type of compass in several vehicles so surely I’d be fine, right? I thought $6 was a small risk.
