so easy to use – both sides are perfect. **edited after 1 year** back to order another one – haven’t found a better way to sharpen my SAK’s. The one I have got used on some beefier, harder steels and it doesn’t work quite as well anymore. Perfect Add-on To a Victorinox Pocket Knife Gift! I bought my husband the “Army Ranger” Swiss Army Knife, which he, of course, loved and added this as a “little something extra”. I had no idea it would be such a big hit and was fascinated to watch him happily sharpening his entire stash of knives! It’s the perfect combination gift!(heart)
Ceramic construction leaves diamond dust in the dust. What I like about this pocket sharpener, compared to most others, is that it’s made of ceramic; it’ s not a diamond coated steel. Diamond dust will eventually wear off, leaving just the underlying metal, and ending the life of the sharpener. Ceramic, on the other hand, will wear down to slowly reveal… more ceramic. I’m very happy with this purchase.
