Great for cutting through the hard stuff I’ve carved up countless chicken carcasses with this blade and it works amazingly. Recently, I’ve used it to trim raw vegetables too. The blade is a unique stabby shape. It’s cheap enough that I don’t mine chucking it into the dishwasher after too. It’s still razor sharp ~1 yr later.

Both work well and it comes down to personal preference. It has a good non-slip handle that fits the hand well. I am not a professional, but do help process 10 to 12 deer a year and these knives make it much easier to do than in the past…
